Matches on Sundays in the Premier League usually kick-off at 2pm and 4:30pm, but it’s all changed this weekend.
Why is West Ham vs Everton kicking off an hour early?
West Ham’s home match with the Toffees has been moved because the Manchester derby later in the day has also changed.
Manchester United’s home clash against Man City will now kick-off at 3:30pm.
This was after Sky Sports, the clubs and local authorities agreed to the switch.
There was no specific reason given for why that match has been moved.United released a statement that read: “The unusual start time was agreed following consultation between the clubs, the broadcaster and local authorities.”
And because West Ham vs Everton has been selected for TV broadcast, it’s had to be brought forward by an hour so Sky can broadcast both games.
The game was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 28 at 3pm.
But because of West Ham’s involvement in the Europa League, the fixture was moved to Sunday and was originally going to be at 2pm.
This will be a big clash as West Ham look to bounce back from their 4-1 defeat to Aston Villa and get their season back on track.
Meanwhile, Everton will have to overcome the disappointment of the Merseyside derby and try to keep moving away from the bottom three.
Fans should also remember that the clocks go back at 2am in the UK on Sunday morning.
