La Roja and their hosts have been the standout teams of the tournament, but for one, their journey will end in Stuttgart.
Spain headed into the tournament with little expectations, but they’ve played some scintillating football and have put Georgia and Croatia to the sword.
Luis de le Fuente’s team look like the side to beat, but if anyone can, it’s Germany.
Julian Nagelsmann‘s men have also played some excellent stuff, and they have a well-balanced side, with Jamal Musiala lighting up the tournament.
So, this promises to be a cracker and both teams have some selection headaches.
Unai Simon has been La Roja’s number one, and there is no reason that will change here.
Dani Carvajal and Marc Cucurella have been excellent at full-back, with the latter keeping Alex Grimaldo out of the team.
Robin Le Normand and Aymeric Laporte have formed a strong defensive unit, conceding just one goal.
But Laporte is a doubt due to muscle fatigue, meaning Nacho Fernandez is on standby.
Rodri has been sublime so far and will anchor the midfield
Fabian Ruiz, to his left, has been one of the players of the tournament, contributing to four goals.
Pedri has been to the right of Rodri and has helped Spain dominate games from start to finish.
Alvaro Morata has started as La Roja’s striker, but Joselu and Mikel Oyarzabal are pushing him.
On the right, 16-year-old Lamine Yamal has been sensational, with his crossing and dribbling causing all sorts of problems.
And on the other side, Nico Williams has been direct and dangerous, so this pair of wingers will cause any team in the world problems.
In goal, Manuel Neuer is the undisputed number one, and he’s made some big saves for his country this tournament as he looks to add the European Championship to his collection.
Joshua Kimmich will be at right-back, and Antonio Rudiger is the clear choice at the heart of his defence.
However, his partner is up for debate.
Bayer Leverkusen‘s Jonathan Tah started the first three games but picked up two yellow cards and was banned for the round of 16 tie against Denmark.
Nico Schlotterbeck filled in and was excellent.
The Borussia Dortmund star grabbed an assist for Musiala with an excellent pass and was calm and composed throughout, meaning he should get the nod.
David Raum also replaced Maximilian Mittlestadt last time out, with the RB Leipzig man proving to be a better-attacking presence.
However, given Spain’s threat, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Mittlestadt return.
Toni Kroos has added class and guile to the midfield, and his partnership with Robert Andrich has been excellent.
The Leverkusen midfielder is much more uncompromising and adds steel to contrast with Kroos’ class.
Ahead of them, captain Ilkay Gundogan will look to dictate things from higher up the field.
Florian Wirtz was voted the Bundesliga’s Player of the Season, but he was dropped for the last match because he hadn’t performed out on the wing.
In his place, Leroy Sane was brought in, and the Bayern Munich winger was a constant menace and should keep his place.
On the opposite flank, Musiala will start.
He has been one of the best players at Euro 2024 and is also the joint-top goalscorer.
Kai Havertz and Niclas Fullkrug have both scored twice this summer, but the Arsenal forward is the preferred choice up front and should lead the line.
